ZIMBABWEAN midfielder, Never Tigere has extended his stay at Tanzanian club Azam by a further two years after signing a contract extension on Thursday.
Azam posted pictures of Tigere with the club’s chief executive officer, Abdulkarim Amin as he signed the new contract, which will see the former FC Platinum midfielder prolong his stay at the club until 2022.
“#Contractextension link star, Never Tigere, he is still very there in Azam Complex members after adding a new two years contract. The contract will make him continue to stay with those party fathers until 2022,’’ posted Azam on their social media platforms.
Since joining the Tanzanian free spenders in January this year from Zimbabwean champions FC Platinum, Tigere four goals and provided for Azam who finished third in the league.
“Tigere has had a great level last season, registered in a small registration window from Zimbabwe Platinum, and successfully scored four goals in the league, two of them throwing in the small penalty, and contributing to two passes,’’ Azam further stated.
Azam supporters will have an opportunity to see Tigere and other new signings, who include another Zimbabwean Prince Dube at the club’s festival to be held at the club’s Complex Stadium in the Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam on Sunday.
